Mandarina se enorgullece de anunciar su asociación con uno de los clubs de polo más aclamados de Norte América. El Club de Polo y Ecuestre Mandarina es ahora club hermano del Aspen Valley Polo Club, ofreciendo a sus socios beneficios exclusivos en ambos clubs. Los socios disfrutarán el acceso a áreas VIP reservadas, acceso gratuito a todas las instalaciones y precios preferenciales para socios para eventos ecuestres, incluyendo oportunidades de estancia, reservaciones prioritarias y más. También disfrutarán de acceso exclusivo a socios a todos los torneos y eventos. Como parte de la asociación, los clubs serán sedes conjuntas para torneos patrocinados dos veces al año, con un evento durante el verano en Aspen y un evento durante el invierno en Mandarina.
Ambos clubs celebraron su primer evento el fin de semana, cuando Mandarina patrocinó el Mount Sopris Cup en el Aspen Valley Polo Club. Esa fue la primera vez que los jugadores del Club de Polo y Ecuestre Mandarina pisaron el campo como un equipo en un torneo con el equipo Mandarina Black avanzando hasta las finales para jugar la final contra Tonkawa, otro equipo haciendo su debut de polo durante el verano en el juego del campeonato del domingo cubierto por Condé Nast. Tonkawa venció a Mandarina 13-11 ganando la Mount Sopris Cup. Los premios del torneo fueron presentados por Ricardo Santa Cruz, socio de Mandarina y por su hermana, Cindy Santa Cruz, Directora Ecuestre de Mandarina.
El Mount Sopris Cup es un torneo de dos días con seis equipos y llamado así por las impresionantes montañas de Elk que han servido de fondo del Aspen Valley Club. Después del juego del domingo, los socios del club de Aspen fueron invitados a una cena VIP con los jugadores del Club de Polo y Ecuestre Mandarina. Mandarina patrocinó el VIP Tent del Sunday’s Mount Sopris Championship Day mediante una barra libre, una feria gourmet mexicana y un Veuve Clicquot pisada de divots.
“Mandarina fue el orgulloso patrocinador y participante del Mount Sopris Cup. No es la primera vez desde que anunció su participación con el Aspen Valley Polo Club, además, fue el debut del equipo de polo de Mandarina” comentó Ricardo. “Esperamos muchos eventos más, compartiendo los beneficios de las asociaciones con nuestros socios y dándoles la bienvenida a los socios del Aspen Valley Polo Club a nuestras instalaciones de clase mundial en México.”
